Hi there! Thanks for your patience as I redesign my blog - can't wait to share.

Ashley + Jake : A Evangola State Park Maternity

Evangola State Park | Irving, New York

I knew I was coming up to Buffalo again this summer and was over the moon when I learned that one of my wedding couples, Ashley and Jake were expecting! So, you can imagine how happy I was when I spoke to Ashley and she was just as excited to learn I would be available to shoot their maternity session. Since the last time I saw them they moved into their new home. This little red house was so sweet and the perfect place to start shooting. I loved the white fencing and lattice archway. You’ll all have to help convince Jake to not tear it down with the house renovations. It’s a picturesque backyard and I think will be the perfect spot for “Baby B’s” one year pictures.

We then hopped in the car and drove to the shore of Evangola State Park. This beautiful arc-shaped shoreline is a 733-acre state park in southern Erie County, New York. We stayed until there was no light left in the sky. I had such a great time catching up with this amazing couple and can’t wait to meet their little girl in October.

Meet Chloe Rose : A Newborn Portrait

Newborn Girl Portrait

Riverside | Jacksonville, Florida

A few years back while working at an ad agency, I meet one of closest friends, Sharon. When she contacted me about shooting her newborn girl portraits, I wanted something new. I found this soft pink blanket at Target and used ribbon with a paper flower to finish the look. Sharon and James welcomed their beautiful baby girl, Chloe Rose on July 23rd. She was born at Baptist Health downtown at 12:17 am, weighing 8.1 lbs and 20 inches long. I arrived at their home in Riverside about two weeks after and found everyone happy and healthy. I was instantly in love with Chloe’s cheeks and full head of dark hair. Just like her mommy. I am so happy for this growing family and this pink and rose inspired shoot was as sweet as her name.

Meet Finn Williamson : Newborn Portrait

San Marco | Jacksonville, Florida

Like many of my wedding couples, Emily and Blake have become dear friends and I was honored to be part of capturing their growing family. Finn was born on June 3 at 7 lbs 11 oz and 21.5″ tall. His nursery was painted with bright blues and green with space decor, books and words encouraging him to “dream big.” My favorite decoration was an original newspaper framed from the first man on the moon  – it is an heirloom that has been in Blake’s family. Finn is so lucky to have such wonderful parents and I know he will be a blessing in their lives.

Meet Harper Hennessy : Newborn Portrait

Jacksonville Beach | Florida

You may remember Amanda and Jamie as one of my wedding couple. They were married last year and I was so happy when I found out they were expecting a newborn baby girl. Harper was born March 19, 6.9lbs and 18 inches of perfection. We did the shoot at their home a weeks after and she was seriously adorable. I was in love with the little pink crochet crown Amanda had, but I know Jamie’s favorite was her New York Yankee bow.

Meghan + Steve : A Garden Club of Jacksonville Wedding

The Garden Club of Jacksonville Wedding

The Garden Club of Jacksonville | Jacksonville, Florida

If you love everything vintage, you’ll love Meghan and Steve’s Garden Club of Jacksonville wedding. On this special day the air was warm, the sun was shining and I arrived at the Omni to find a glowing bride and the most beautiful Anthropologie dress. Every detail was so thought out and the entire day was effortless. Meghan walked down the aisle with her father at Riverside Methodist Church to marry her cheerful groom, Steve. Afterwards we were lucky to have great light as we took photos at Riverside and Memorial Parks. One of my favorite shots of the day was as they were walking out of the park and Steve was holding Meghan’s dress. They stopped to kiss and it was simply perfect. I love sweet moments like this and they didn’t stop there. They joined their friends and family at the Garden Club for dinner, dancing and cake. Toasts were made with laughter and tears and the evening ended with guest releasing paper lanterns over the St. Johns River. It was a joy shooting Meghan and Steve’s wedding and hope their wish comes true.
