I meet the Stewart family two years ago and it’s amazing how time flies. I was so honored when Jessica called me to take their pictures again. This family loves the beach and for their shoot I took them to Guana River State Park. It is a great location for pictures because you get the beach without the condos in the background. I loved their choice of denim and hot pink. It was the perfect example of coordinating for your session with a pop of color.
It’s not everyday that you meet a couple who actually met on a blind date, so cute. Thanks to their friends, Buff and Larry will be married this October. They love driving with the top down in their convertible and being outdoors. I’ve shot at Walter Jones Historical Park several times and thanks to Larry I finally learned what poison ivy looks like.
Recently I had the pleasure of meeting miss Palmer and shooting her 6 month pictures. This little girl has the bluest eyes and sweetest smile. We went to Alpine Grove Park, which is one of my favorite places. It has moss covered trees, an old barn and a white farm house. Courtney, Palmers’ mom, brought a blue pair Converse with her initials embroidered on them. They were super cute and got the biggest smiles when she had them on.
I love every wedding I shoot, but this one was special to me. I’ve know Kristen for a few years now and was so excited when she sent me a picture of the ring saying Dave had proposed. Kristen and Dave met while working at hotels across the street from one another and it was love at first sight. In the time they have dated, they have traveled the world together and captured the hearts of everyone who knows them. You couldn’t meet a more sincere couple. Their wedding was full of emotion and pure happiness. I’ve never seen two families come together so effortlessly. Kristen is an only child and now she not only gained a husband, but four brothers and sisters.
I recently did an engagement session with Linda and Evan. They wanted an outdoor environment and Walter Jones Historical Park was the perfect setting for them. They are such a sweet couple and I can’t wait for their spring wedding.
